Apps privacy policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This policy explains how the VideoStreaming.net apps for Android TV, Fire TV and mobile (the “App”) handle your data. The App plays a channel you already set up on VideoStreaming.net. It complements our general site Privacy policy.
1. What data the App handles
- No account or sign-in: the App connects to a channel with a pairing code you generate on the web. The App does not ask for your name, email, phone or payment details.
- Stored only on your device: the channel you tune (its code or identifier and its name) and your language preference, so the App can resume the channel. This stays on your device; it is not a profile we build about you.
- Technical communication: to deliver the signal, the App connects to our servers (https://app.videostreaming.net) and fetches the channel’s current programming. As with any internet service, our servers may process technical data —such as the IP address and basic device and App information— to serve the signal and keep it secure.
2. Permissions
The App requests only Internet access. It does not access your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
3. No advertising or tracking
The App contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not build advertising profiles from your use of the App.
4. Third-party content (YouTube and others)
Channels may include videos from platforms like YouTube, played through their official embedded player inside the App. When a video from such a platform plays, that platform (for example, YouTube/Google) may process data according to its own privacy policy, which we do not control. See the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Children
The App is a general-audience channel player and is not directed to children under 13. The content of each channel is defined by its owner.
6. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. The App communicates only with our own servers and, when playing a video, with the corresponding video platform.
7. Security
Communication uses HTTPS. We keep data handling to the minimum needed to play your channel.
8. Your choices and your data
Because the App keeps no personal account, you can remove its local data anytime: clear the App’s storage or uninstall it. For data linked to your VideoStreaming.net account (managed on the web), see the Privacy policy and Data deletion.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll post the new date here. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept it.
10. Contact
Data controller: Virtualtronics SAS (Colombia). For any request about your data, write to us at soporte@videostreaming.net.
